Bringing Diagnostic Prototypes to the Point of Care

'Bringing Diagnostic Prototypes to the Point of Care" is a workshop/conference jointly organized by Institute of Primate Research and University of Alberta (U of A). This conference workshop will simulate transition of diagnostic devices from the lab to end-users and encourage the researchers to re-design their devices to adapt to this transition. The participants of the conference are expected to give a talk, do the demo and on-site production. We discourage presentation of devices that are too complex to demonstrate, transport to, or assemble outside the lab.

The conference runs from June 225, 2012 to June 29, 2012. Applications are due March 25. For more information, see the website.
