The rapid spread of the Zika virus and the severe potential consequences of its infection mean the swift implementation of a diagnostic testing to the affected areas is a public health priority.

Many governments and diagnostic test manufacturers are currently developing such test and whilst it is imperative to get such tests to market as soon as possible I was wondering what the community thinks the lowest acceptable level of specificity and sensitivity for such a diagnostic test would be?
