The authors present a decision analytic model to quantify the impact of the Chinese Ministry of Health's (MOH) recent decision to implement a 10 year national syphilis control plan to avert congenital syphilis. The analytic model determines whether the Chinese MOH is likely to meet the goals laid out in the control plan.
