This open access article, by Chen et al. evaluated the acceptibility and uptake of rapid syphilis tests among female sex workers in two major cities in Southern China. Free rapid syphilis testing was introduced into outreach programs for female sex workers to help improve test uptake, in cooperation with health advocacy organizations.
